Found this little guy on my patio last night. Everyday I leave seeds out for the neighbourhood birds & was very surprised to see him! I couldn’t capture him, and didn’t want him to not trust me/fly away. So I left some more seeds and water out for him, as well as some fresh fruits/veggies that are safe for parakeets (I did my research). He’s been in the tree right outside my window for the entire day today. I’m hoping I can keep him at a close distance until I can find his owner. Poor little guy must be scared. (I think he’s a male due to the coloration of his cere - again, I did some research!)
